8 April 2009 BOSTON TRIP

We all were so excited today because it was our trip to Boston. Our guides today were Mr. Phil Carignan,GSE Coordinator, Ms.Shirley Beach, PP.Terry Boulton, Mr. Reinhartdt, and Chelsea. We firstly got on Hop-on and Hop-off Old Trolley to have a tour of the city. Then we got off and had a walk to Fenway Park, which is a very famous big baseball stadium. We had a chance to go to Red Sox’s shop and some of us had done lots of shopping there.
At lunch, we had a nice meal at Beerwork Bar and Restaurant near the stadium. We firstly were introduced to clam chowder, which was a famous cream soup of Boston. After that, we walked back to get on to the trolley and got off once again at the park. We walked a little bit the see the city and the shops there. Then we went to the aquarium but we did not have a chance to get in because it was close by the time we got there. Anyway, we had a chance to see seals outside of the aquarium.
It was time to have dinner and we all took taxi to get to the restaurant, which has a really pretty name as No Name Restaurant at 15 Fish Pier. This restaurant is very well-known for their seafood. We all had delicious dish and we shared with one another.
By the time we got back to our host families, it was around 10.30 –11.00 pm. We all tired but had a really great time in Boston.
