4 April 2009 ( 1st day at Simsbury)

We started our adventure in Simsbury by touring Simsbury Town guided by DGN. Prasad and Vinod S.Gadhia. We visited Simsbury playground and the outdoor auditorium sponsored by the Rotary Club. Then we went to see the Town Hall; a public library; Simsbury Farms; Pettibone Tavern; Pinshot Sycamore, which is a 148 years old largest tree; Center Cemetary; East Weatogue Historic District; and Phelps Tavern Museum which we were joined by the others Rotarian Fellows. When it was sunset, we went to Warner Theatre to join an Evening of Doo-Wop & Rock’N Roll Concert at Torrington organized by Phil and Fellow Rotarians.
