7 April 2009 Hillstead Museum in Farmington and great time with GSE outbound

We had a trip to Hillstead Museum in Farmington, which once used to be a house of the first female architect in Connecticut. We had a chance to look at many precious paintings, which belongs to Monet, Whistler, Degas, and Manet.
At lunch we went to join the weekly meeting of Farmington RC. and we also had a presentation, answered questions and exchanged present and banners with the Club President there. They prepared us a Thai dish, which is chicken curry and rice. After that, we went to the Mark Twain House and Museum. He is a very famous writer of America.
When it came to the time of dinner, we went to a Thai restaurant called Viengthong at Avon. We really had a great time with GSE outbound team from America also with DGN Prasad Menon , District GSE Chair Alma Kruh and Farmington RC.President Jean At-water William. Of course, we did enjoy Thai food, which all of us always miss of. We ended up our day with mangoes on sweet sticky rice and fried bananas with ice cream. Thanks a lot to make us feel like home.
